Reincarnation route to Terminal Lucidity

For the Reincarnation secret route in Risk of Rain 2: Hallowed Concepts, obtain the Page, complete Soulbound Threshold and Beseech the altar orb before approaching the door. Confirm the N’tormat anticipation cue in the valid zone before activating Reincarnation. Ordinary sacrifice circles can kill players; the completed-ritual door is a distinct interaction.

Obtain Reincarnation without assuming a guaranteed drop

Reincarnation is a random N’tormat Page. Page opportunities include the Shrine of Compulsion objective, Ancient Sepulcher, The Wake and N’kuhana Trials. These are opportunities for Pages, not a guaranteed Reincarnation farm. A run can satisfy the Shrine of Descent requirement yet still lack the Page for this branch.

Use the change key item action binding to select the Page and activate key item to use it. Check your controls rather than relying on a keyboard letter from another player’s setup.

Finish the ritual before testing the door

1. Follow the Soulbound Threshold route.
2. Complete the challenges and both Anima Harvester phases.
3. Use Beseech on the altar orb. The visible door alone is not a completion check.
4. Approach the door area. The described post-ritual interaction zone extends about 18 metres around the door.
5. Wait for the cue “The N’tormat shudders in anticipation…” before activating the selected Page.

Launch behavior needs care: current route documentation describes the completed-altar door use as opening the Veil without killing players, even without the book holder standing inside it. Recent launch reports describe fatal attempts near the door. Do not treat proximity to the door as proof that the post-ritual interaction is active. Confirm the altar step and the cue; this guide cannot guarantee identical behavior across patches or mods.

What is different from a normal sacrifice circle?

Owning all six Pages is not a requirement for the door. The inscription’s “or…” wording is a hint, not an instruction to fill the entire book. Travel caused by Reincarnation sacrifice can also skip the next normal Page regeneration; do not budget an immediate refreshed cast.

Enter Terminal Lucidity prepared

Terminal Lucidity is the optional destination beyond the Veil.

The branch leads to Terminal Lucidity and the Echo of Providence encounter. The encounter has four phases, including wurms. This page covers reaching that branch and avoiding the wrong sacrifice interaction; it is not a complete attack-by-attack boss strategy. Keep a combat-ready build rather than spending your run’s resources solely to access the route.
