How to unlock Acolyte

To unlock Acolyte in Risk of Rain 2: Hallowed Concepts, defeat both Anima Harvester phases in Soulbound Threshold, revive the fallen Acolyte, then give her one eligible permanent Healing/Food-tagged item. Defeating the boss alone does not finish the unlock.

Before starting the Acolyte route

Enable Hallowed Concepts. Keep a removable, permanent item in the Healing/Food category: equipment and temporary or Ethereal items do not satisfy the donation. A run can reach the boss without a suitable donation, so protect one qualifying item instead of discovering the problem at the end.

Before you commit

Hallowed Concepts is enabled for the run.A permanent Healing/Food-tagged removable item is still in inventory.The group has enough Pages for a Shrine of Descent.After the boss, speak to Acolyte before choosing an exit.↺

1. Reach Soulbound Threshold

Collect N’tormat Pages and look for a Shrine of Descent before starting a stage’s teleporter. Pray at the shrine, complete the extended teleporter event and take the Ritual Portal. The Soulbound route guide explains the portal and its normal-exit restriction.

Soulbound Threshold is the destination. The sequence below is a route schematic, not an in-game screenshot overlay.

2. Finish the ritual and both boss phases

Follow the ritual orb into the active dome and finish the challenge objectives before the timer expires. Stay with the active dome rather than waiting in the damaging fog. After the challenges, defeat the Anima Harvester encounter through its second phase. A first-phase victory is not the survivor-unlock endpoint.

3. Revive the fallen Acolyte

Find the fallen or exhausted Acolyte after the second phase. Interact and choose Revive her. Continue the interaction until the item donation menu is available; do not mistake reaching her for completing the challenge.

4. Donate the qualifying item

Choose one eligible item from the donation menu. The menu is the final check for what the game accepts from your inventory. The donation consumes the selected item, so choose one you can afford to lose. The unlock applies to players in the lobby who own Hallowed Concepts.

Why did Acolyte not unlock?
